The issue is that most people neglect proper nutrition as part of reaching their weight loss goals, when in reality it plays a significant role.  As professional fitness coaches, we tell our clients that they should eat nutritious fruits, vegetables, lean meats, and healthy fats about 80-90 percent of the time, with no more then 20 percent of sweets. There are plenty of nutrition programs on the market, such as Slim Genics or Weight Watchers, but the difference between us and them is our competitors don't EDUCATE you on what to eat for fitness and weight loss success. These companies and programs simply have you purchase their packaged meals, which cost hundreds (if not thousands) of dollars. And, that's not all, we've also created a nutritional program that you can ease your way into eating healthy. No cold turkey for you... Well, unless you enjoy eating it as a source of protein. Now, if you are already following some other fad diet (other then the ones we’ve implemented) we’d recommend re-evaluating your decision. Here’s why… We want to educate you to understand HOW food works, and WHAT you need for your body. The more knowledge you have the more power you’ll gain. If you don’t understand WHY you should eat certain foods, then you won’t lose weight because you won’t follow it. If your current diet plan is based on a point system and it doesn’t teach you the importance of proteins, when to eat them, and how to best use them, then your body will suffer. If you don’t know how carbs function in your body and when NOT to eat them then you’ll gain more weight. And, when people say ALL fats are bad (which isn’t true) then when can you eat healthy fats…? By not understanding how your body operates with every piece of food you put in your body, then you’re not learning how helpful or harmful certain foods are.
