Portia Willy

Fitness Coach 1+ Years Experience AFAA Certified Personal Trainer American Red Cross CPR & AEDPortia is a walking testament to the Summit Fit Dojo Group Fitness program.  She came to our program over 2 years ago, and drove from Longmont 3-4 times per week, because there was nothing like Summit Fit Dojo in her town.  With hard work, and a desire to get into the fitness industry, Portia took the plunge to become a Fitness Coach in 2013.  Many clients rave about her fun personality, great sense of humor, and desire to encourage others during classes.Fitness & Personal Life My name is Portia. I’m a new Native; living in Longmont since the end of 2009. I grew up between Indiana, Michigan, and Illinois eating a steady diet of fried comfort foods, tons of carbs, and ANYTHING chocolate while at the same time being so uncoordinated that that doing any kind of sport was unthinkable to me. Needless to say, I was a chunky kid who developed into a fat young adult and by 23 years old I had become straight up obese—maxing out at 205 lbs. (and a size 18!) in the winter of 2008. In the spring of 2009 I attended my first boot camp class while finishing up my undergraduate degree from Indiana University and it was life changing for me. I dropped over 35 pounds in the first 10 weeks and was down to a just-over-healthy weight of 148 by the end of the summer. Things ebbed and flowed with my weight for a while, but all said and done I arrived at a 135 lb size two and have been able to stay in that vicinity since the beginning of 2012. I owe that to Summit Fit Dojo and the determination our workouts continuously fill me with.In the two plus years I’ve been doing our small group personal training classes I’ve learned so much about health, food, and fitness! So much so that I recently decided to do something else that no one would have ever thought me capable of: I became a Summit Fit Dojo personal trainer! I’m quickly settling into the new role and can’t wait to start seeing the amazing transformations in other peoples’ bodies! If you’re the type of person that thinks you have no hope of ever feeling and looking the way you have always wanted to like I was, come let me prove you wrong! All it takes is eating better and dedicating yourself to a good fitness program!

Krystal Loiler

Fitness Coach 6+ Years Experience Bachelor of Science – Exercise Science ACE Certified Personal Trainer American Red Cross CPR & AED TRX Suspension TrainingKrystal is the latest addition to the Summit Fit Dojo team, coming from the bitter cold state of Minnesota.  She moved to Aspen, CO after college, where she worked with various fitness organizations and hospitality businesses — when she decided to leave the mountain town and move to Boulder, CO.  When she’s not kicking your butt, making funny jokes, and encouraging you to push harder at Summit Fit Dojo, you can find her enjoying the outdoors of Colorado.Fitness & Personal Life I started playing sports around age 4 or 5 and haven’t stopped moving since! In high school, I focused on basketball and soccer, as well as staying conditioned during the off season. The weight training and general fitness sparked my interest in the human body and led me off to college at the University of Minnesota-Duluth, where I earned my Bachelor of Science, studying Exercise Science. Shortly after, I became an ACE certified personal trainer and since have been active in the fitness industry as a personal trainer and group fitness instructor. I have been living in Colorado for the last 3 years and become an avid mountain biker, cycler, hiker, and snowboarder, and love pretty much anything in the outdoors. I have become a firm believer in the physical and mental benefits of exercise and good nutrition. My passion for fitness, exercise, health and the human body keeps me always looking for something new to learn and to challenge myself and others with!
