So, let me tell you about me, my company and the job. My name is Javier and I run a company called Summit Fit Dojo in Westminster,CO. Summit Fit Dojo is a personal training fitness studio that has a variety of programs such as Small Group Personal Training, 1-on-1 Fitness Training, Fitness Kickboxing, and Nutritional Coaching. We are also apart of FitRanX, a revolutionary fitness ranking system that is designed to keep clients motivated and on track with their fitness goals.  We are the ONLY FitRanX Training Studio in Colorado, making our fitness program very unique to residents in Westminster, Broomfield, and Thornton. We have worked with hundreds of fitness clients reach their health & fitness goals through uniquely designed fitness training & nutritional coaching, and continue to grow our clientele base every month. My studio is located at 1975 W. 120th Ave. #400, Westminster, CO 80234.  Right next to Snarf's Sandwiches, Club Level Sports Bar & Cort Furniture. If you are hired for this job, you'll need to come to the office starting at 3:30 PM twice a week on Mondays and Wednesdays, with an occasional Thursday.  You'll work approximately 3 to 4 hours each day, and attend our business meetings once every 2-3 months.  Again, the starting hourly wage is between $10 to $15 / hour, depending on your experience.

Tasks I Need You To Perform

  • Answering And Returning Phone Calls From Customers And Prospects - I don’t get a ton of phone calls, but the ones that come in are important. When you’re not here to answer the phone, many of the calls will go to voicemail. You’ll be responsible for returning those calls the next day.
  • Responding To Customer Service Phone Calls And Emails - I get quite a few phone calls and emails every day.  You will need to respond to each of these with basic information I’ll provide you. You need to be comfortable talking on the phone, using email and being a good typist.
  • Filing - Basic stuff to keep up with the paper flow.
  • Website Management - Ideally, you’ll have some technology skills and can do some basic updates to my website (if not, I’ll teach you how). You do NOT need to know HTML, but if you do, that’s a plus.  Also, if you’re familiar with WordPress and are generally comfortable with internet technology, that’s definitely a plus.
  • Facebook Postings -  We like to keep our clients and followers informed about events, FitRanX results, helpful articles, and daily workouts, and anything else that is fitness & health based.
  • Blog Commenting -  In order to grow our presence as a Fitness leader in Westminster, CO you'll be going to some fitness, health, and nutritional websites and making quality comments.
  • Basic Marketing - You'll be given a variety of marketing tasks, such as printing flyers, sending out email promotions, mailing letters to inactive clients, and social media promotions, to name a few.  It's important that these are followed through correctly because this is a critical part of growing my business

Required Skills

These are the skills you must already have to qualify for this position:
  • Microsoft Word Or Apple Pages - You must be very comfortable using Word, or Apple's word processor, Pages.
  • Microsoft Excel - You must have basic Excel skills. We don’t do anything advanced with this software, just some simple spreadsheets, but you must be comfortable doing what I need you to do.
  • Newsletter Database - We publish a bi-monthly newsletter in InfusionSoft, and you’ll need to be able to make edits/changes to newsletters when necessary and get it ready for email distribution..
  • Good Phone Personality/Etiquette -  You will be talking with my customers, who are VERY important to me, and prospective customers, who are also important. You must be comfortable conversing on the phone, in person, and through email. You must know how to conduct yourself professionally, take clear messages and deliver clear instructions to the prospect or client. I’ll teach you everything you need to say and do, but I can’t teach you manners and professionalism.
  • Email -  A great deal of your work will be via email. I use a web-based program that’s easy to learn (you’ll understand it within 30 minutes). You need to be very comfortable and proficient with email.
  • Thoughtfulness and Organization -  I need you to be able to think for yourself and be organized. I am very serious about this one. I do not want a robot, I want someone who learns and grows with me.
  • Coordinate Office Activities / Events - I like to put on quarterly seminars based on nutrition, fitness, exercise, or a guest speaker.  In addition, we host monthly FitRanX testing, so you'll need to communicate that to our clients and prospects
  • Creative Thinking Skills - From time to time I'll ask you to think outside the box and partake (and sometimes lead) on special projects.  I need for you to have the ability to be creative, yet follow instructions, as these projects can include a variety of tasks.
  • Customer Service - My clients are the most important part of Summit Fit Dojo, which is why I want you to have amazing customer service skills.  Say hello to everyone, memorize their names and learn something new about them.  But, also any prospects that come in our door interested in our fitness programs need to be informed of what we offer and treated with good service.
