Baked plantains are a healthy alternative to potato chips, and are really easy to prepare at home.  Here is what you will need: Spicy Baked Plantain Chips 2 Green Plantains 2 Tbs Olive Oil 1 tsp Chili Powder 1/2 tsp Cumin 1/8 tsp Cayenne Pepper 1/2 tsp Salt Preheat oven to 400 degrees.  Remove plantain peels with a knife.  Thinly slice the plantains.  In a bowl, toss plantain slices with olive oil, spices and salt.  Spread in a single layer on a cookie sheet.  Bake for 15 to 17 minutes, turning slices after about 8 minutes.  Remove, cool, and serve with guacamole....or eat them plain.
