Thank you George Bryant and Abel James for compiling the AWESOME Caveman Feast Cookbook.  I recently purchased the cookbook for myself,and am loving all of the scrumptious recipes.  This week I am sharing Coffee Roasted Chuck Roast.  It is so tasty, and incorporates two of my favorite things....coffee and red meat!  So try it out....the prep time doesn't take long, and if you start it early enough on Sunday morning it will be ready just in time for the Sunday night game!   Coffee Roasted Chuck Roast   prep time: 15 minutes | cook time: 8 hours | servings: 4-6   Ingredients 2-3 lb. roast of choice 2 cups fresh brewed coffee 5  peeled garlic cloves 8 oz of sliced mushrooms 1 sliced yellow onion   Instructions Brew coffee Make five deep slits all over the roast and stuff the garlic cloves into the slits Rub the roast generously with salt and pepper Place the roast, sliced mushrooms, and sliced onion into crock pot Top with brewed coffee   Cook on low heat for 8 hours or until done to your liking   Serve with a baked sweet potato or green salad.  Enjoy!
