I did it!!  6 months and 2 days (not that I was counting!) into my sweet baby girl’s life I officially lost ALL of my baby weight!!  24 lbs and 12 inches lost in 4 months!!

I have actually started to write this blog several times, but nothing I wrote seemed right. I kept feeling like I should have some inspirational words or magic formula to share.  But I don’t and that’s exactly the point.  There isn’t an easy way to get into shape.  It takes a lot of hard work, motivation and dedication.  I work-out Summit Fit Dojo 3-4 times/week and I run 2-3 times/week.  I eat Paleo.  I wake up early in the mornings so my work-outs are done before my kiddos get up and our day starts.  I put everything I have into every single work-out.  I’m the weird one that usually eats dinner before I go to a dinner party.  And every day I choose to be healthy, for me and for my family.

So that’s it!  No magic formula.  No inspirational words.  And the truth?  It was really hard.  There were plenty of days that I didn’t want to put in the work.  Most of the time I did anyways, but sometimes I didn’t, which is ok.  The point is to keep moving forward and build healthy habits and a healthy life.  Sustainable change takes time.  So ask yourself, what do you want your body and your life to look like?  And if you really committed yourself, where would you be in 4 months?  I am there, and let me tell you, it feels awesome.
